David Sonius

David Sonius is the founding director of RWR Politics. Following a thirty-five year career as an educator, Sonius has devoted his energies to civic education. In addition to his newly released book, Divided We Fall: Divisions, Myths, and an Ungovernable America, Sonius writes a regular commentary at Sonius on Politics on Facebook. He has been recognized for his teaching and writing by the University of Chicago, Arizona State University, the College Board, and the Flynn Foundation, among other professional organizations. When he is not traveling, Sonius lives in Saint Louis and Pawleys Island, South Carolina.

Tara A. Blanc. Ph.D.

 Dr. Blanc is an assistant teaching professor in the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California, where she teaches courses in public administration, human resources management, and strategic planning. She previously served as a lecturer and faculty associate in the School of Public Affairs at Arizona State University, where she taught public administration, public service ethics, leadership, and organizational behavior. Dr. Blanc also served for eight years as associate director for the ASU Cronkite/Eight Public Opinion Poll, coordinating the design, implementation, and data analysis of monthly public opinion polls measuring attitudes about politics and public policy in Arizona. Dr. Blanc earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism, Master’s Degree in mass communication, Doctor of Philosophy degree in public administration from Arizona State University. In addition to teaching full time, Dr. Blanc is a consultant and author with more than 30 years of experience, providing research and consulting services to clients in both the public and private sectors. She resides in Tempe, Arizona. 

Lizzie Green

 Lizzie Green, the Director of Youth Education, is currently a senior at Boston College studying political science and film. She has worked with young people as a counselor and trip leader for the American Youth Foundation, which aims to develop leadership skills in young people so they can make a positive impact on their communities. She has also worked at Rosie’s Place, a women’s homeless shelter and nonprofit in the Boston area, and as a writer’s intern at NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers. She hopes to use her skills to engage people with important issues in an entertaining and informative way.
